Calcutta Run - 'Calcutta Run-walk for a cause' (Kolkata Edition) was held on 26th May, Saturday from 7 am onwards at the Rabindra Sarobar Lake. It was a great success, as various participants from corporates and other altruistic individuals voluntarily came forward and walked for the cause concerning the safety and prevention of violence against girl child.
Our overseas director Ms.Jenny Browne and Ms.Geeta Venkadakrishnan (Director, Hope Kolkata Foundation were also present for the event.
On 5th September, Sayantan Sarkar launched his latest collection "Live & Let Fly collection" which was attended by the adorable children from Hope Kolkata Foundation and the three lovely ladies of repute - Alokananda Roy, Nilanjana Chakraborty and Ramanjeet Kaur. Sayantan Sarkar exclusively designed "Kokeshi doll printed dress" for the HOPE children at the unveiling of LFW Winter Festive collection in Kolkata store Avoire. The news was published and covered by the Ebela Newspaper.
Power FM 107.8 0rganised Holi Canvas Ronger Utsav at South City Mall with Hope Protection Home children. Famous artist painter Mr Wasim Kapoor children's handprint in canvas into masterpiece work artwork with his colours. Emami Frank Ross Ltd purchased the art and donated Four lakhs to the organization.

Kolkata: Fiddling with the brush to draw splashes in colours of life BigB's life, sketch painter Wasim Kapoor on saturday set on his new holi series for underprivileged children. Kapoor who had sketched a portrait of Amitabh bachchan and gifted it to the superstar two years back, said he would love to do a series portraying the innocence and joy of the little ones.

SEEDZ- An Initiation for a Better Tomorrow was a Fundraising Show which had supported Hope Kolkata Foundation. Hope Kolkata Foundation is a very honest and hard working NGO who have been dealing with street and slum children for many years. This Event had supported Hope Kolkata Foundation in promoting it through its event so that more people are aware of the work that we are doing. The event was scheduled on June 13th 2015 in Novotel Kolkata from 7pm onwards. Soha Ali Khan was the show stopper & had walked the ramp for Hope Kolkata Foundation in spreading awareness of treating child properly through SEEDZ- An Initiation for a better tomorrow.
30 children (15 from Kasba girls home and 15 from Boys home all age group 5 years to 9 years) had walked the ramp along with the Celebrities. Snehasish Bhattacharya had designed the attire for the wonderful children.

Conducting once-in-a-lifetime charity Quiz & Debate with different renowned Schools & NGOs event that supports the education of the street children of Kolkata. The event will be hosted at the ILead Kolkata (113J Matheswartola Road, Tangra, Kolkata – 700046) on 30th January 2015 (timing 3pm-7pm).
The Hope Foundation, the renowned Irish Charitable Organization organized a charity quiz and debate "Knowledge Know-how Quiz & Debate" contest at iLead, Topsia with the children of NGO's and other reputed schools across the city.
The event saw the presence of renowned producer-director Satrajit Sen and actor & activist Bobby Chakaraborty. The quiz was partnered by Ejunction, the CSR arm of mjunction services limited & thus was hosted by Debashish Mukherjee & Abhishek Kar from mjunction. Excellent knowledge know-how event 2015 witnessed by all. In a way it was an eye opener to get the first hand view of our youth!! Congratulations to all.
Tata Steel Kolkata25K 2014 running held on 28th December 2014 which gave opportunities to people run to raise money & support the cause they believe in and achieve their ultimate win. 40 people from HOPE have run for a cause. Mr.Bobby Chakraborty, actor and activist have run for HOPE. We are thankful to all the corporates and individuals who participated on the D-Day.
We, The Hope Foundation, organizing our 15th Children’s Annual Cultural Celebration with these underprivileged children on 29th October 2014, Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. at the Science City, main auditorium, Kolkata. On this special day, over 3000 street and slum children, who would normally never get the opportunity to experience cultural programs, will be present at the celebration. More than 700 deprived children will perform cultural program with a theme “Kolkata the City of Joy”. These children do wait to get this opportunity to perform in the stage to show their talent as they do not get any other platform.
